What preparations are needed before using the Z-1080 Clevis?

 

Quality Inspection

Check that the material is forged Q235B carbon steel and that the surface is completely galvanized, with a zinc coating thickness of ≥86μm. Observe for surface defects such as missing plating, peeling, and burrs.

Surface Verification

Measure the flatness of the tower's hanging plate installation site. The tolerance should be ≤3mm/2m. Exceeding tolerances require shimming or rework.

Lifting Equipment

Components weighing over 100kg must be lifted using lifting equipment. Manual lifting is strictly prohibited. The hook and hanging plate must be double-locked using connectors.

Supplementary Materials

Spare anti-loosening bolts, spacers, and neutral, environmentally friendly sealant for joint filling. Corrosive materials such as marble glue are prohibited.

Maintenance and Care for the Z-1080 Clevis

Appearance Inspection

Depending on the operating environment, inspect the hanging plate every six months to one year, checking for cracks, deformation, wear, and other mechanical damage. Cracks, which may lead to breakage, should be promptly replaced.

Connection Inspection

Verify the Z-1080 Clevis secure connection to adjacent hardware, check for loose, missing, or rusted bolts, and verify that the nut tightening torque meets design requirements.

Rust Removal

Clean surface contaminants such as dust, oil, and bird droppings. If rust is evident, remove impurities from damaged areas and repair any damaged areas.

Bolt Maintenance

Regularly inspect the connection bolts. Replace bolts of the same specification and strength if rust, thread stripping, or breakage is detected.
