Pre-installation Preparation

Use a torque wrench, laser level, lock washers, and matching bolts to check the integrity of the Z-0780 Clevis zinc coating and ensure the hole walls are free of wear.

Positioning and Securing

Use a long-shank bolt to penetrate the upper hole of the bracket. Align the double shear surface with the crossarm connection surface. Align the lower notch of the bracket with the insulator ball head. Insert the pin and tighten, ensuring the left and right rotational axis is flexible.

Freedom Adjustment

Manually test the front and rear rotational axis and the left and right rotational axis to confirm that there is no binding during 90° rotation. Adjust the bolt tension to accommodate ±3mm deviation in the rigid busbar installation.

Strength Protection

Use a torque wrench to apply pressure in stages up to 100 N·m. Install lock washers to prevent loosening due to wind vibration.

Load Testing

Apply a static tensile force of 70 kN to check that the connection points are free of displacement and deformation.
