Raw material pretreatment: When selecting the base material, it is essential to ensure that it meets the characteristics of high strength so as to meet the load-bearing and tensile requirements during use. Remove surface oil and grease by soaking in an alkaline solution, and then clean with an acidic solution to remove the surface oxide scale. Rinse with water multiple times to remove residual acid and alkali solutions and avoid damaging the base material.

Structural forming: In the forming process, we can use two forming processes: multi-pass roll forming and stamping forming. Stamping forming is mainly for small-sized or irregular-shaped parts. It can stamp the required structure in one go, which is more efficient. By using CNC punching design to open the slots, deformation can be avoided. Multi-pass roll forming can better ensure the uniformity of the overall angle. It can be said that the two forming processes have their own advantages and disadvantages.

Galvanizing: The formed workpiece is immersed in a molten zinc bath at 440-460℃. When the workpiece temperature is the same as the zinc bath temperature, the steel will undergo a metallurgical reaction with the zinc bath, thus forming a zinc-iron alloy layer. An outer layer of zinc is then applied. The double-layer structure can greatly improve corrosion resistance and adhesion. After galvanizing, the workpiece is placed in a cooling tank to cool down quickly to solidify the zinc layer and prevent the zinc layer from reacting chemically with the air.

Quality Inspection: Finished product inspection of galvanized Z clevis is also essential. We use mechanical processes to remove defects such as zinc nodules and zinc burrs from the surface, grind uneven cuts, and remove residual zinc layer from the threads to ensure smooth installation. For environments with strict requirements, we also perform passivation treatment to further enhance the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the zinc layer.
