Its outdoor service life is ≥20 years. With a hole tolerance of ±0.5mm and a smooth, burr-free surface, it effectively avoids stress concentration.

The Single Cross Yoke Plate is a high-strength metal connecting plate used in power lines for "transfer, mounting, and uniform stress distribution," primarily used for connections between towers, insulators, and wires. During use, its function is to smoothly transition a stress point into a suspension point for the insulator string, ensuring even distribution of tension and gravity, preventing damage or breakage, and making connections more efficient and flexible. In other words, the Single Cross Yoke Plate connects a mounting plate on one side and an insulator string and tension clamp on the other, effectively solving problems such as misaligned holes, unsuitable angles, or inability to directly connect hardware. It acts like a "universal middleman," easily connecting components that would otherwise be incompatible. The symmetrical design ensures more even stress distribution, dispersing concentrated tension and preventing deformation or breakage due to excessive stress at a single point, thus reducing stress damage at the insulator-to-tower connection.The cross-shaped structure itself is rigid and not easy to twist. When fixed with bolts, it will not flip or shift, and will not loosen during long-term operation. During use, it requires less maintenance and operates more stably.

 

When purchasing a Single Cross Yoke Plate, is installation the first step? Of course not. First, we need to inspect the accessories, checking that matching bolts, nuts, flat washers, spring washers, matching mounting rings, and installation tools are all prepared. Inspect the plate's appearance to ensure there are no cracks, deformations, burrs, intact zinc coating, no serious scratches or rust, that the hole diameter matches the bolt size, that there are no blockages, and that the model and load-bearing capacity meet the line requirements. After completing the inspection, proceed with the installation of the Single Cross Yoke Plate.

Confirm the installation direction, ensuring the cross face of the Yoke Plate is perpendicular to the line direction and the holes are aligned. Insert the tower's hanging ring into the hole, then insert the bolt, followed by the flat washer, spring washer, and nut. Tighten by hand, but do not lock it completely.

Connect the ball head ring at the top of the insulator string, aligning it with the connecting plate hole. Again, insert the bolt, flat washer, spring washer, and nut, and initially secure by hand. Keep the connecting plate naturally vertical, without twisting, and allow the insulator string to hang naturally without tilting. Ensure that the connecting plate is evenly stressed and not unevenly loaded after the conductor is suspended.

Tighten the bolts, first tightening the center hole bolt, then the insulator side bolts. Tighten with a wrench until the nut is no longer loose and the spring washer is flattened. After tightening, inspect the Single Cross Yoke Plate installation to ensure it passes inspection before use.
