The base material of our 3-Hole Connecting Yoke Plates is consistently Q235 carbon structural steel, formed as a single piece through stamping without any welded seams. In the industry, welds are always a weak point under long-term alternating tension in this type of load-bearing fitting. The one-piece stamping structure allows for more even stress distribution across the entire plate, avoiding the risk of cracking caused by localized stress concentration. Our standard models have nominal breaking loads ranging from 70kN to 750kN. We maintain a stock of standard molds for the entire L-07 to L-42 series, accommodating common conductor cross-sections from 400mm² to 600mm², and providing corresponding specifications for most 10kV to 500kV lines. Overseas projects often have tight schedules, and having standard molds saves on the time and communication costs of individual mold making, ensuring stable control over prototyping and bulk delivery times.
We maintain strict control over dimensional accuracy, taking into account the actual conditions of overseas construction sites. Hole diameter tolerances are controlled to H13 grade, and hole position deviations are controlled within 0.2mm. Every yoke plate undergoes a full-dimensional inspection before leaving the factory. Products manufactured to standard tolerances can be directly installed with standard pins and bolts without secondary processing. The plate thickness and hole spacing are manufactured according to general power fitting standards, ensuring high compatibility with internationally accepted insulator string accessories. Customers do not need to modify drawings, simplifying upstream and downstream integration.
Corrosion resistance is a critical indicator for exported fittings, directly impacting product lifespan. Especially in Southeast Asia and coastal Africa, where salt spray concentrations are high and acid rain is frequent in some industrial areas, substandard galvanized coatings lead to rapid corrosion and high subsequent maintenance costs. Our 3-Hole Connecting Yoke Plates undergo uniform hot-dip galvanizing, strictly adhering to ISO 1461 standards. Zinc layer thickness and adhesion are specifically tested for each batch. After galvanizing, each piece undergoes a visual inspection, and any missed areas, burrs, or zinc nodules are thoroughly cleaned. For projects in highly corrosive coastal areas, a thicker zinc layer can be added as needed; corresponding salt spray test reports are provided with the goods to meet project acceptance requirements.
Structurally, the triangular three-hole layout is inherently more suitable for tension section conditions than straight-plate connecting plates. The three-point stress structure allows for more even tension transmission, reducing the likelihood of stress concentration on one side under extreme conditions such as strong winds and icing. It offers superior resistance to eccentric loads and torsion, and is less prone to plastic deformation under short-term overloads, providing ample safety margin for line operation. This structure is more suitable for both high-voltage trunk lines and mountainous sections with large spans and frequent winds.
If customers have specific dimensional requirements, providing drawings or detailed parameters will facilitate sample production and small-batch trial production. There are no mandatory large-volume requirements. Tensile strength testing is conducted on each batch before shipment, and material certificates and galvanized layer thickness test reports are included. Third-party inspections by SGS or BV are also possible, as all relevant qualifications and testing procedures are readily available.
If you are unsure about the specific model, please send us the line voltage, conductor cross-section, insulator string type, and rated tension. We can help you match the corresponding specifications, and we can also provide quotations for matching adjustment plates, hanging rings, and U-shaped hanging plates, saving you the hassle of dealing with multiple suppliers.
