How is the widely used DB-0770-170 adjusting plate manufactured?
Material Preparation
30mm wide by 8mm thick steel. Clean the surface and grind the edges to remove burrs and sharp corners to reduce stress concentration.
Forming
Press the sheet metal into shape using a hydraulic press and drill holes. M16 bolt holes are approximately 18mm.
Hot-Dip Galvanizing
Pickle the formed adjustment plate in 15% H₂SO₄ at 60-70°C for 10-15 minutes. Then, flux it in a ZnCl₂/NH₄Cl solution. Then, bath it in a 99.99% pure zinc bath at 450–480°C for 15 minutes to form a 30-50μm zinc layer. Ultrasonic agitation is used in a zinc bath at 480–520°C to achieve a zinc layer thickness of 86–100μm.
