L yoke plate is widely used in the connection hardware of power transmission system, and is used for the assembly and adjustment of insulator strings, conductors and tension wires in overhead lines. Its appearance is "L" shaped, with different sizes and specifications to meet the needs of different transmission lines. L-1040 yoke plate is a widely used connection fitting in L-type yoke plates, usually used for high-voltage overhead lines and assembly and adjustment. From the appearance, L-1040 type yoke plate is triangular in shape and has five small holes, all of which can be used for directional connection. Q235 carbon steel is used in production, and the surface is hot-dip galvanized. The perfect production process makes the product have good corrosion resistance and can be used for a long time. Its weight is 3.2-4.5kg, but there will be slight differences in size and thickness. During use, connecting double or multi-insulator strings can realize the assembly of single conductors and split conductors, which is particularly suitable for 10-35kV power projects.

 

L-1040 yoke plate can optimize the connection of ground wire fittings. A ground wire suspension clamp is added below. During assembly, the single suspension clamp is turned into a double suspension clamp, which can not only improve the concentrated stress of the clamp, but also reduce the wind force and reaction of the single suspension clamp along the line direction, thereby reducing wear. The specifications of the L-1040 yoke plate are L-10-70/400, with a thickness of 16mm, a length of 400mm, a height of 70mm, and an aperture of 20mm. It is suitable for a conductor cross section of 400mm² and a breaking load of 100kN, which can meet the use requirements under various environmental conditions.

16mm will affect the bearing strength and meet the mechanical load of the conductor and the pull wire;

The installation and maintenance of the L-1040 yoke plate will directly affect the stability and safety of the power line. Therefore, no matter the preparation work, installation process or maintenance points, they must be operated carefully:

Component inspection

Check that there are no cracks, deformations or rust on the surface of the L-1040 yoke plate, and the aperture and thickness are consistent with the requirements. Reasonable shape can avoid uneven force;

Supporting component inspection

The strength of the bolts, nuts and washers used for connection meets the requirements, and there is no damage on the surface;

Tool preparation

Torque wrench, wire brush, level, rust inhibitor, safety belt, insulating gloves, non-slip shoes;

Positioning and alignment

Align the connection holes at both ends of the connecting plate with the connecting parts to avoid deformation caused by forced insertion of bolts;

Bolt connection

Insert from the inside of the connecting plate to the outside, ensure that the nut is on the outside, prohibit excessive firmness, and operate strictly in accordance with the requirements;

Installation verification

There is no obvious tilt of the connecting plate, and there is no misalignment of the connecting parts. Through simulated load, it is coordinated with other parts under natural stress.
