Preparation

Location
Prefer installation within 0.5m or less of the insulator fitting to avoid stress concentration on the conductor. Standard spacing is 120-300m, with one hammer installed at each end.

Hammer Direction
The heavier end faces the pole tower, with the hammer axis perpendicular to the conductor ≤3cm.

Pre-twisted Wire Installation
