LV-1020-1

 

The LV-1020 Yoke Plate is a three-hole yoke plate primarily used for connecting parallel double-wire insulator strings and multi-strand insulator strings. Compared to similar yoke plates, it offers significant advantages: a V-shaped symmetrical structure with symmetrical force distribution, preventing eccentric stress; and a three-hole layout for enhanced structural stability. High-precision hole positions ensure zero bolt jamming during assembly, with a hole spacing tolerance of ±0.5mm (200mm) and a hole diameter of φ20H7.

To meet diverse user needs, the LV-1020 Yoke Plate supports customized production. Customized hole spacing is the most common. For example, a customer initially used a standard 200mm hole spacing, but the local insulator string spacing was 250mm, making installation impossible. Our company customized the center distance between the two holes to 250mm while maintaining the same shape, plate thickness, and hole diameter, while also ensuring unchanged symmetry, flatness, and stress structure. This makes it ideal for power transmission line renovation projects.

Material Selection

High-strength alloy steel with a tensile strength of ≥500 MPa is required. Surface oil and oxide removal are essential to prevent excessive corrosion.

Galvanizing Treatment

Corrosion protection is a crucial function of joint plates, so we have very high requirements for the zinc coating. Before galvanizing, the alloy steel can be immersed in a mixed solution of NH₄Cl and ZnCl₂ to assist in the galvanizing process.

Drying and Preheating

Preheat the workpiece to 120-180°C to prevent deformation or zinc flaking during zinc immersion.

Zinc Dip Plating

Immerse the workpiece in molten zinc at 450-470°C for approximately 0.5-1.5 minutes.

Post-Galvanizing Finishing

Manually remove excess zinc bumps and smooth the surface to prevent injury to personnel during use.

What Are The Main Applications For The LV-1020 Yoke Plate?

Split Conductor Load

Rigidly connects overhead line split conductors to suspension insulator strings, evenly transferring mechanical loads across multiple split conductors and effectively preventing conductor damage.

 

Tower Guy Reinforcement

Enhances wind load resistance and mechanical stability, especially effective in typhoon-prone areas or high-risk scenarios.

 

Insulator String Extension

Used to improve the mechanical strength of the tension section of a transmission line. For high-load scenarios such as long spans and heavy ice areas, the LV-1020 type tie plate is the preferred choice.

After selecting the appropriate LV-1020 yoke plate, it will be packaged and shipped to you. Moisture- and shock-resistant packaging materials are used to effectively protect the zinc coating from wear. Choose the appropriate packaging box based on the tie plate size and weight. When transporting on plains, light trucks are preferred. If it is mountainous, tracked transport vehicles are selected.
